I'm checking in.  That is all.

I haven't written here in a few weeks.  I intended to write nearly every day, but we all know with what the road to hell is paved.  I noticed I received quite a few page views.  I have no clue who would be reading this.  Hello, whoever you are.  I have nothing to report.  I just wanted to touch base here.

This Side Smoke-Free

I may need to change the name of this blog.  I don't want to advertise that I'm 500 years old.  It's been too long since I've written.  The time is moving fast.  This is a good thing, at least for the moment.  I quit smoking two days ago.  I'm still smoke-free.  Hopefully it will last.

This Side Up

I can't handle Twitter yet I'm starting a blog.  It seems so 2000s. It's the Teens of the 21st Century.  Shouldn't I be teleporting by now?  Anyway, it gives me an outlet and I've let virtually no one no about it.  I continue to learn about freelance writing and I like what I'm hearing.  1. There is a market for it. 2. Success is a possibility. 3. I don't have to work with deplorable people that are second to the type of folk one finds in the county prison.  All good prospects.  Eventually, I'm going to have to start a professional website, but this will work for now.

This Side of 30

This side of 30.  I don't know where this title came from.  I think I'm hoping to capitalize on my recent youth and keep people guessing on which side of that number I am.  Hint: It's on the upper-side.  It seems a little late to start a blog, but I want an online writing presence of my own.  I've ventured into freelance writing and want to write as much as I possibly can.  The job prospects are good if I focus and stay motivated, or so I've been reading.

So here's my spot.  I'll see what I come up with.
